The daybed was originally designed and built for a friend with a small cabin who wished he had a window seat and needed storage space however he could get it. They are made wide enough to double as a guest bed while creating a nice, cozy cozy spot to curl up in with pillows and blankets and read a long book (or, yes, spend hours on your phone ; ))
